CHAMOMILE (Matricaria chamomilla): Chamomile contains natural anti-inflammatory compounds that calm irritation and support healthy skin regeneration. Especially suitable for sensitive or dry skin.
CALENDULA (Calendula officinalis, Marigold): Calendula is a gentle emollient with healing, soothing, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory properties—ideal for delicate or easily irritated skin.
THYME (Thymus vulgaris): Rich in vitamins A and C, thyme is known for its natural antiseptic qualities. Traditionally used to ease rashes and skin irritations.
HORSETAIL (Equisetum arvense): Horsetail is stimulating, softening, and restorative—well suited for photo-aged, dry, and mature skin. Its natural mucilage supports healing while helping maintain skin elasticity.
SUNFLOWER OIL (Helianthus annuus): A smoothing, moisturizing oil ideal for lightweight emulsions. Helps reduce acne by preventing excess oil and sebum from clogging pores. Not to be confused with highly processed industrial seed oils, ours are organic, first cold pressed, and sourced in the US.
VEGETABLE DECYL GLUCOSIDE: A mild, plant-derived foaming cleanser commonly used in natural skin-care formulations.
VEGETABLE CETEARYL GLUCOSIDE: A plant-based emulsifier that adds body and smoothness to skin-care products; also functions as an emollient.
VEGETABLE GLYCERYL STEARATE: This plant-based emulsifier and thickening agent helps disperse ingredients evenly while providing a silky texture.
ALMOND OIL: Rich in triglycerides, minerals, and vitamins, almond oil is highly emollient and an excellent carrier for essential oils. It helps relieve itching, dryness, soreness, and inflammation.
GRAPE SEED OIL: Nourishing and lightweight, this oil is high in linoleic acid—supporting moisture retention and functioning as a natural emulsifier. Not to be confused with highly processed industrial seed oils, ours are organic, first cold pressed, and sourced in the US.
VEGETABLE GLYCERINE: A humectant derived from coconut oil. Glycerine draws moisture from the air, helping hydrate the skin and improve product spreadability.
CAPRYLIC ACID: Naturally found in coconut extracts, caprylic acid provides emollient properties, improving slip without relying on chemical or potentially harmful additives.
GLYCINE: An amino acid that enhances the texture of cleansers. As a major component of collagen, glycine supports the skin’s natural collagen production.
XANTHAN GUM: A natural thickening and stabilizing agent that enhances the smooth, even texture of the formula. Ours is made from broccoli and cabbage.
ROSE OIL (Rosa damascena): Balances skin pH, supports moisture retention, and promotes healthy cell renewal. Particularly beneficial for mature, dry, or sensitive skin.
ORANGE OIL (Citrus sinensis): Calming and anti-inflammatory, orange oil improves circulation and helps soothe dry, irritated, or acne-prone skin.
TOCOPHEROL (Natural Vitamin E): A potent antioxidant with photoprotective qualities. Its water-binding ability helps improve the appearance of rough or dry skin.
LECITHIN: A naturally hydrophilic substance found in all living organisms. It stabilizes emulsions and helps attract and bind moisture, smoothing and protecting the skin. A natural moisture-binding ingredient that softens and smooths the skin derived from grapeseed oil.
HOMEOPATHIC COMPLEX: Graphites 30C, 30X (Plumbago): Supports persistent dryness, eczema, and acne. Pulsatilla 24X, 12C (Wind Flower): Provides anti-inflammatory benefits for acne and varicose veins. Chamomilla 12C, 30X, 60X (German Chamomile): Offers calming and soothing effects for sensitive or reactive skin.
I love my Blossom baby cleanser, for myself if I’m honest! After having my first baby my scalp became incredibly sensitive and flaky, which was never a problem before. I found my regular shampoo to be too harsh and thought I would try Blossom. It works great! My scalp has calmed down since regularly using this Espiritu Collective Skin product. I love how it smells and how gentle it is. I use it on my 18 month old and I use it as my own shampoo!
