Directions
Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure and reapply at least every two hours. Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a broad spectrum SPF of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including:
- Limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
- Wear long-sleeve shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses.

Lauric acid is a medium chain fatty acid, which is translated into monolaurin in the human or animal body. Monolaurin is the antiviral, antibacterial, and antiprotozoal monoglyceride used by the human or animal to destroy lipid coated viruses, various pathogenic bacteria, and protozoa.

ZINC OXIDE
Zinc oxide is the most effective UV absorber across the entire UVA and UVB spectrum. It is the sole sunscreen active ingredient approved for use on children by FDA. Zinc oxide holds tight to its electrons when it absorbs UV energy and limits the creation of free radicals that do damage to your cells and increase the risk of skin cancer. The zinc oxide Espiritu uses is non-nano, and not-micronized; there are zero zinc oxide nano particles in our formulas. And that’s good news for you!
